Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei expressed his rejection of UAE allegations that Iran fired a missile towards the UAE.
Baghaei considered that these allegations contradict the principle of good neighbourliness, and hamper efforts made to enhance confidence among the countries of the region.
Baghaei called on regional parties to refrain from making “unfounded accusations” against Iran, in light of the existing complications resulting from what he described as American and Israeli activities that are against regional peace and security.
